Hi Rough Riders! During the week of April 29 - May 1 the Leadership class will be hosting a Faculty vs. Students week to strengthen the bond between fellow rough riders by creating some friendly competition. During the week we will have mini games for the students and faculty to go head to head. These games will take place during lunch at the senior patio stage. Some of the games will be musical chairs, cupcake decorating, and jeopardy. Come and watch the event to support your fellow Rough Riders. Hope to see you there!
Explore the World of Cybersecurity. JUNIORS- interested in taking a free college course on Cyber Security in your senior year? Cybersecurity is the KEY to protecting people, businesses and even nations from cyber threats. Want to learn more? See Ms. Kaneshiro in the College and Career Center (A4).
Nu'uanu Elementary School is having their annual Family Fun Night on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 2:15pm - 8:00pm. They are asking for Roosevelt High School students/clubs if they would be interested in helping at the event with games and different activities. An email was sent to your school email with the signup link: Nu’uanu School Family Fun Night 2025 Volunteer Signup. Students would sign up under "Games".
Seniors: please try on your can & gown. If it doesn't fit (gown too long/too short, cap too small or large), cap & gown exchange will be on May 8 during Rider Time in room A3.
You need to bring the item you want to exchange.

Students who are interested in entering their next class should visit the McKinley HS Driver Education Website for information on the upcoming May 2025 class and to enter their lottery.
Deadline to enter is April 30, 2025.

We’re in our final week of the GSA “What Does Love Means to You?” One Love art competition. Time is ticking and Friday, April 25th is the last day to submit your LOVE artwork. You can still make it!
All entries must be received by Friday 3pm. Look for our GSA ONE LOVE Art competition posters and use the QR code for more details, to provide your information, and submit a snapshot of your art work.
Congratulations to Roosevelt Alumni Chad Owens who has been inducted to the University of Hawaii Circle of Honor. Chad will also be speaking at our Wellness Showcase on Thursday, May 8 in the Auditorium during 'Rider Time.'
Hey Rough Riders. This year's film fest is coming up. You can either make a short film, short documentary, or PSA. Entries are due by April 25th so you still have plenty of time.
