If you would like to attend a college presentation, please get a pass from Ms. Kaneshiro in the College and Career Center, Room A1, before school, during recess, or after school by 3:00pm.
Your teachers MUST approve your attendance to any college presentation during instructional times.  You are responsible for any missed class work.
All college presentations are in room A1, unless otherwise specified.  
Attendance is taken at each college presentation.
Remember to take notes during the presentation.

Punahou School JROTC will host its annual Military Academy Admissions and ROTC Scholarship Information Fair.  Learn more about how to apply to any of the Military Service Academies or receive the latest information on Army and Air Force ROTC scholarship opportunities.

AP Contracts and Payments for School Year 2017-18
Students need a contract for every AP class registered for at Roosevelt High School.  Please print a contract for each AP class you register for, and give completed contracts to the appropriate AP teacher for an AP class sticker by Friday - December 2, 2016.
Payment for AP exams will be collected in A213, January 23-February 10. The deadline to pay for any and all AP exams you will be taking will be February 3rd. Please see Mr. Morikone in A213 outside of class time for paperwork and to turn in money.

Hawaii Future Dentists Symposium & Scholarship 
Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend the Hawaii Future Dentist Symposium on February 25 (Saturday) from 7:30 a.m. at the Pauahi Tower Suite 340 - 1003 Bishop Street (downtown). The symposium will feature a discussion by several of Hawaii's foremost dental specialists who will discuss the joys and challenges of their particular dental speciality. In addition, there will be someone from the University of Hawaii School of Hygiene. IT IS FREE TO ATTEND. TO RSVP: EMAIL or call (808) 537-2880. In addition, students who attend are invited to submit an essay of 200 words or less describing why they would like to be a dentist. The prizes are: 1st place $500, 2nd place $300 and 3rd place $200. ACT With Writing Test
Tuesday, February 28, 2017:  Juniors you will be taking the ACT with writing and should have received a practice booklet in your English class.  Use the practice booklet to prepare for the test.  If you did not get a practice booklet, see Ms. Kaneshiro in A1.
